true dual on my 6er
Hey there. I would like some information and opinions please. I recently purchased a MAC catback (formed off of a y-pipe) for my 1999 V6 Mustang. It has been on my car for about a month, and I am looking for a little more noise and power out of it. So, I am looking to make it a true-dual exhaust. How can I come about this, for I have heard possible ways to do so. I have heard that I could take it to an exhaust/muffler shop and have them custom fabricate an h-pipe and weld it to the existing cats and mufflers, taking away the y-pipe. I have also heard that I could buy the Dual Exhaust Adapter Kit and cut off the y pipe and weld that on to the cats and mufflers. I want my cats because I do not want to make my car illegal having no catalytic converters. So, buying an all new midpipe with cats would be useless right? For one I already have piping, cats, and a catback and secondly, it may not fit properly right? I am going for that true dual feel and sound. Which would be best and least costly?
