I'm going to be honest, I know nothing about tires/wheels at all. I have no interest in them. What is "buy a lsd and a set of snow tires, i had winterforce (blizzak knock offs) and a auburn posi with 3.73s".

I heard about T-Lock and lsd but what are they. And what does 3.73s mean? This question may make me look dumb but you've gotta learn sometime.

buy a limited slip differential- makes both wheels turn instead of just the one, which means more traction. snow tires are...well, tires designed for traction in the snow. remember, in snow, you want a skinny tire!

3.73 is a gear ratio. stock we have a 3.27. with a 3.73, you will accelerate faster, and the car will go easier. since you would be installing a T-lok or another LSD, then would be the best time to install gears.

2 rear Snow tires and some 200 lbs of salt in the trunk really helped me.

I've got some Michelin mud and snow tires on my car for the winter, then I throw about 100 lbs or so of sand in the trunk and I did alright. Snow tires, weight in the trunk, and go slow. It's not impossible to drive a stang in the snow, most just prefer not to.

do what i did...

I was driving down the street the other day and seen a mid 90's cavalier on a trailor and asked where it was going he said scrap so i followed him.

After a few minutes of talking and just gas money i now own a 96 2 door cavalier.Come to find out all it needed was a timing set the tensioner let go and had a loud tap from the chain slapping the cover. He thought it was a rod know.Soooo now its on the road for less than 100 bucks not including legalizing it.

If you can work on them hit up houses where they have cars sitting you'd be suprised at what you will find.

I bought an 86 firebird the same way needed a u-joint.
