Default what are hydroboost brakes?

I see that the 99+ cobras (maybe older) run a hydroboost brake system. Looks like some kind of device replaces the brake booster and it runs a few more lines into the master cylinder. Is this a better system (works better?) and can ours be replaced with it? If so, what do we need, hydroboost & master cylinder? Or more than that? thanks.

Yes hydroboost brake systems are better. They produce substantial gain in overall braking power and react a lot quicker when you step on the pedal and they are not affected by large duration camshafts or forced induction systems. I've got the set up from an 01 bullitt that I do not need if you're interested.
