Trans Question.

How much does it typically cost to rebuild an auto trans?

I have 126k on the car and its starting to act REALLY funny, just randomly, but its starting to happen more and more...And it seems like it only happens when it rains...any ideas?

Other than the new trans, how much other stuff would have to be done in order to swap to a manual? like change cp stuff what else?

check out www.phoenixtransmission.com they are cheaper than a rebuild but with a rebuild you can customize it for your setup. or ther is always the junkyard for used auto like www.mpsautosalvage.com or www.delkperformance.com for used trannys.

a typical rebuild will run $1500-$2000 for a performance 4R70W rebuild. mine was $2200 but i specified the exact parts going into it so i was happy
