hey wats up? I am gettin a cold air intake and I was wondering if it is necessary to get a valve cap to keep water from being sucked up into the engine by the intake?
......what the hell is a valve cap the only cap on the valves if for 710.....
got to watch the 710 cap. they are hard to find if you lose one. go to advance and ask if they have a replacement 710 cap for your car. you will get some looks like your an alien
water wont get sucked into the engine unless your going through a massive puddle.. i hope your not driving your stang through puddles anyways.
a puddle? i litterally drove my old toyota across a river and i didnt get water sucked into the engine, that valve things about as valuable as a turbonator.
No, you wont need to worry about water in your intake. The stock system pulls air from the fender just like the CAI and unless you have water up to the windows your safe.
