Default M112 vs. Vortech

What are the pros and cons of each? Besides the fact that the M112 costs about $800 more (assuming you find one used and wont have to buy a new hood). Just looking to make 300hp.

as far as I know. a complete vortech supercharging kit does not cost $2000. For that ur looking at about 3500-5k. As opposed to ~$2800 for the M112 and adapter kit. And yes you need to buy a new hood for this. But who doesnt want a good excuse to get a new hood? although the cons to a M112 is the heating problem(please correct me if im wrong).
and the M112 with give you more torque than the vortech since its a roots type blower.

m112 v. vortech...for second place?

Procharger is safer and more efficient than both. costs the same.

Like it was said above, I think that the M112 is the cheaper route to go...and better performance I'm guessing since a lot of people on here are doing it, and they seem to know what they're doing

If you get a Vortech though, make sure you slap a really ricey looking body kit on it. Someone on here once told me that it should give you around 250rwhp which is enough to kill all GT's...and possibly a Corvette or Bugatti Veyron...

I dont know much about Prochargers, but heat is your engines worst enemy and turbos and prochargers are intercooled so scrap the supercharger unless you like them. Its your personal preference.
