I have an early model '00 which is the same style.

What kind of chipping? Front bumper? Front edge of hood? Pictures?

bondo = the enemy. I need to find a new driver door and driver front fender and V6 rear bumper cause they all have bondo on them from the previous owner of the car.

bondo is like any other material, fine in moderation. if its used to smooth out a minor wrinkle thats good itll make the paint look better. if its used like 1/2 inch think to fill a dent someone was to lazy to pull, thats bad.

I just dont like bondo in general. Even small amounts will eventually start to crack.

Wow, I looked at those pics, if all the silver spots are the "chipping", more like hunks of paint gone? I think your only solution is a new paint job... and your roof....

Set Goals: Paint Job, Rims.

+1. The car has been through a few world wars hasnt it? I say go for the gusto and get a whole new paint job. Your roof will love you.

Shouldnt the paint last at least 15 years? And if it doesnt then you get it repainted for free by the manufacturer. I could be wrong though, correct me if I am.
