added onto the back of the transmission, makes half gears. basically, and OD for each gear- 1, 1OD, 2, 2OD, 3, 3OD, 4, 4OD. makes for one hell of a trip accelerating.

If that is really how it works then it sounds stupid and hard on the trans.

Awesome. 18 Gears FTMFW. I'm happy with my 4, but would love to convert to a 5spd soon.

The way I see it is...Why fix it if it aint broke? The cost of all this may offset the cost in gas mileage over a period of time but how much time are you looking a having your stang before you want something faster and more efficient? Its like selling a 1/2 ton truck (standard F150 or something) with no payments, low cost liability insurance but u spend 100 in gas a month ONLY TO BUY a fuel efficient vehicle and owe around 13-15 grand, a must have full coverage insurance and nice lil car note to tag along. So you look at it this way the latter is roughly 1200/yr and the other may be double if not triple the initial costs cuz of the variables.......

Eh I type too much but then again im wasting time b4 work...
