i want mac longtube headers and i heard you have to make sure you specify if you have an air injection port or something like that on them. im pretty sure thats what is pictured but i wanna be sure before i get them. i know somebody here knows what im talking about.

 

aint that the pipe that leads to the EGR?

 

i dont know. its the only thing coming out of my stock headers and its only on the passenger side. im no exhaust expert

You order them according to model year, just trust me.

 

you do not have air injection, that is the EGR tube (exhaust gas recirculation). order the LTs without air injection

Tried to post this earlier but my phone would not post it.

That's the egr tube, we all have that.

Air injection is a tube that sticks off the front most primary on the passenger side of a 1998 V6.

I am not aware of any other year having this.

Check ebay for stock headers for 94-98 and you will see pictures of new ones with that tube.

The tube is a little ugly but can always be capped if you don't have it but got a great deal on the headers.
