yeah go for something different, i think black is the most common color of mustangs if i'm not mistaken

even if that is a fact i was saying red just to get a color change, to me its more worth the paint job if your doing something totally different

ya but then that more work i would have to do the door jams and the trunk and i really just dont want to do anymore sanding but i have to =-( with 320-400-800-

Ghost stripes and flames are where you have a stripe that is a shade lighter or darker than your base color, if done right it is a very subtle accent.
The example below is a 2005 Mustang

ok i gave brain a call ( my buddy whos helping me paint). he said i need to make up my mine. but u guys do have a point tho y just paint it the same color... so here are some pics of what i like
i ask him about metallic and pearls he said it not a problem for him just need to use the paint booth just a little more

Btw i just order some tint on my headlights and taillights got both done for 40$ 7 year warranty... next is a chin spoiler and short antenna

That sounds amazing actually! I've always liked he metallic colors on any vehicle and since ur top is black, you can basically choose from any color.

OP, you might not be willing to take risks on the paint, but if it all works out in the end then you're gonna be really happy that you changed it, instead of just re-painting
