Default GT Take Off

This got I work with has the old exhaust off his GT he said he would sell it for $150 to me thats alittle to high so i was thinking should I try to get that exhaust or just get one made/

I wouldn't buy it, its going to take some fabricating to make it hook up to your stock exhaust system unless you already have an x or h pipe. It will probably sound like crap and would offer no real performance gains. I wouldn't do it, especially for that price.

I heard a v6 with a gt exhaust somewhere online, im not sure where. It was a little deeper sounding, didnt sound bad at all. But it wasnt really noticeable, wasnt loud or n e thing.

best thing to do it buy the parts seprate and goto a muff shop and have it done. . .Thats what I did

there is no need for an X or H pipe on the 3.8 motors....it's worth it if you can get them for cheap. They sound a lot nicer and aren't annoying whcih is good because less attention means less cops in your face

150 is too much. you can find it on the net cheaper than that. i wouldn't pay anymore than $100 from that guy. even that is a little high. ask him for it for like $75, if he doesn't want that, tell him $100. don't pay more than that though. i see GT take-offs on ebay and classifieds sections of stang sites for like $70-$100.
