Default Window replacement

Parked in NYC tonight and came back to my car to find the drivers side window was all busted and my radar detector/jacket were taken. kind of sucks, but anyway, lots of glass dropped into the door panel.. anyone ever have to deal with anything like this?

gonna remove the panel, shopvac all the glass pieces out, then have to get a new window and seat it on the motor correctly.

Anyone ever do anything like this? Where/How much is a new window anyway?

Complete newb with this subject so any help would be appreciated.

It's easy, just pop off your door panel, get all the glass out, roll the track down about half way and you'll see the mounting tabs for the window on the track. Unblot them, and slide in yur new window, bolt it back it and you're all set. It'll probably take you longer to get the glass shards out of the door than it will to replace the window.

When installing it, set the track to where you have the easiest access to the bolts holding the clips in.

you lower the window track with the switch, and there are openings in the door frame to access the bolts, it's really easy.
