Default Cdc Shaker Intake + m112??

Ok so the other day I was looking through videos of superchargers and such and came across a video of a mustang with a shaker intake + m112 put on the engine. Now I cant seem to find the video now but i thought there wasnt enough room to have both. So the question is has anyone seem anything remotely to this and if so how much custom work is there involved to getting this to work out because I may be interested in doing this instead of the cam idea for right now.

was the car you saw this silver 1999?? Owner's name is Richard.
It's not a CDC shaker, but an actual Mach 1 hood and shaker unit. It's not hooked up. It's just sitting on top of the blower for looks.

Yeah, if you really want to make it work, I bet we could figure out a way to keep it on there. Just won't draw air in through it and into the SC.

no, there's no cooling effect on that side of the compressor.

Anytime you compress air, you create heat. Even when nitrous bottles are filled, they freeze them first to counteract the heat created when you fill them

When I have to fill my SCBA's (Same the as SCUBA, without the underwater part) I usually fill it until it's hot, and let it sit for a while to cool and top it off.

So the heat will always be on the bottom of the M112, which is why we are constantly trying to figure out a way to cool that air off. This also the reason all FI projects try to use an intercooler, to get the temp back down to ambient.

Not on the V6 application.
But people who do the set up right have not had heat issues.

Only time you hear about heat issues are from people who either aren't doing the set up, and just want to complain about something they don't understand, or people who cut corners and are doing the set up wrong.
