Default Heat Shield thing for exhaust?

Ok, when i bought my H pipe adapter it came with everything ( Hangers, Rubber Hangers, bolts, clamps, and this little hose cover thing for heat )

Is it for a brake line or a Fuel line and where at does it go. The instructions just say it covers a rubber hose but dosnt say where and what.

Its like a little rubber Heat shield.

I would guess its for the fuel lines. Which lines are the closes to the exhaust? I think fuel, that would make the most sense too....dont want fuel lines getting to hot.
