whats exactly a polished upper intake? can you do it yourself? is there a tutorial for this?

porting and polishing is making the holes in your intake manifold bigger to allow more airflow and then smoothing them out to keep up efficiency. you can do it yourself with a gasket and dremel, theres tutorials somewhere around here im sure someone will bring a link in here.

since you probably havent done it before you may wanna start on a scrap yard motor or take it to a shop

id recommend getting a cam and a tune to go with it cause thats were the majority of your power will come from
