Here's the deal. I have a 00 V6 Auto with 104000 mi. I bought the car at 95000 and to my knowledge the tranny hasn't been maintained as far as fluid and filter changes. I haven't had any problems yet other than an occasional hard shift to second or a longer than normal delay when downshifitng. I would like to do something to refresh my transmission so that I don't have to worry about this summer especially since I'm a student and don't want to spend alot of money getting a tranny if it decides to die on me. Anyways, what are my options?

 

Go get it inspected, and get the fluid changed. Maintain it regularly. I need to get mine inspected. It is doin somethin I don't like to much. Also I have the same shifting prob you do.
