Default custom ipod connect on stock radio

hello all. just curious if anyone has made a custom connect for their ipod while retaining the factory cassette\cd combo. I saw an article where a guy did one for his tape deck, link here
http://www.instructables.com/id/MP3-input/
not sure if that will work with our cd deck though, any input would be great. thanks.

uhhhh thats ridiculous. broseph probably went to MIT or something haha. But really do what zach said or do the radio transmitter deal, but the tape player option gives the best sound quality.

sound quality is poor from those tape adapters. I know it can be done, but question is how affordable can it be done. Here is one idea, but not worth a hundred bucks.

I use the tape adapter for my iPod and I think it works great. It was only $10 at Walmart too.

really is pointless for that...in my eyes anyways..

You can buy a whole new stereo for $100 that comes with the ipod usb cable..

I have an amp and aftermarket speakers, so it sounds pretty good.

radio transmitters usually dont work that good & even if you hooked it up somehow to your system it wouldnt charge. your best bet would be to go get a new deck like others have said and then youll have better sound & it will charge. the deck i have doesnt even have a place for cds or tapes lol ipod(& radio lol) only.
