I have seen a lot of people that got rid of the pony and put in the grille. I saw on cardomain that someone had to use a ruler to get to his hood latch. I was wondering if this is true or is the hood latch still easily acessible?[&:]

 

with a mach 1 grill delete kit, it is still normally functional. the guy with the ruler must have been ghey

 

HAHA.....Yea i wouldnt imagine that they would sell the mach one grille delete and not tell you that you couldnt reach your hood latch.[8D]

 

hes not talking about a mach one grill delete with a mach one kit the pony stays and that dum honey comb thing is gone our cars, 94-98 dont have that. he means like a billet grill. yes puttin a grill in makes it really hard to get at. i have a grill in mine and needed to order the cobra hood latch. it has the lever part at the top with a yellow cap on it not on the bottom with the handle thing. the handle is wat makes it hard with the cobra one its SOO easy u wont even need to look. iil get sum pics up later

 

yea a billit grill (makes sense now) i know what you mean baout the 94-98 latches- my brother has a 96 v6, and his lever needs to be pulled horizontal to the left, on my 99 v6 i just lift up with ease...
