well something did happen a while back , i went down a strip near my house and this was before i got the gears. and what happend was i was going about 75 , 80mph and i put it in neutral to help slow it down ( at the time i didnt know thats not good to do) and i forgot i already had it in neutral when i shifted it again into reverse it started studering for about 5 sec then it cut off the engine , is that the problem?

well Shifting into N to slow down is ok as long as you dont do it when on the gas.BUT shifting into rev when moving forward Can mess up transmissions very ez.If you go out there right now and just get in it and drive does it shift at lower rpms into 4th. if it does push the Od button off and see if it shifts down
