Engine vibration
I have a 98 Mustang V6 with 67,000 miles on it. When I drive and put the car in park i feel vibration in the wheel and then it stops. Is this normal? It looks as if the plugs and wires are origional. Could it be them?

my girlfriend's 98 3.8l v6 does the same thing. i've concluded that it's probably the fuel injectors...and that they are bad and need to be cleaned. the reason why her engine rock is because only 3 of her 6 cyclinders work consistently...after the car has been on a while, it seems as though a 4 cyclinder kicks in to balance out the shaking...and it runs nicely. i'm going to try to get the injectors "professionally cleaned". sanitarium, if it's not too much trouble...do you think you can tell me if you've fixed that problem yet...or was it something else altogther...and how did you rectify it? (yes, i know...i said rectify)

thanks in advance

If you go to a ford dealership and have them clean your injectors the stuff they use is really good. The service is like 120 dollars. The crap you put in the tank sucks, so dont even try using it.
i changed the plugs and wires and 3 out of the six had gas on them. I don't know what that means but i'm guessing this has something to do with it. I'm going to get the fuel filter changed by ford, might as well have them clean the injectors too. The car is running a little smoother with the new wires and plugs.
Check all the holes for spark by pulling the wires off of them, sticking a screwdriver in the wire(where the spark plug goes) and put the screwdriver next to something grounded(not the battery). If the spark jumps from the side of the screwdriver to the grounded object then it is firing, if not there is something wrong farther up the line, seeing how you replaced the plugs and wires.
