Default Help would be appreciated

Hello,
I have a 1967 mustang with the base 200 CI strait 6 and the auto tranny.
recently and for unknown reasons it has been sputtering out and then dieing all together. you will be driving along and the motor will completely cut out, cut back on, then out and so on until it just stalls completely. it has all original parts on it, including the carb, and all parts in it. I believe that the motor had been rebuilt before i got it, but, its run fine for years.
I would love some help because i love this car.
