you can flash a car as many times as you want, it makes no difference

Yea i'm looking at getting a tuner as well for my 1999 stang.. only thing is i can't decide which to get i can either get the

SCT 4-Bank Eliminator Chip http://www.americanmuscle.com/sct-4-...uter-chip.html

or

SCT SF3 Powerflash tuner http://www.americanmuscle.com/sct-sf3-tuner.html

and i can't decide which to get.. cuz the eliminator goes straight into the cars computer so this way i can switch between tunes while driving.. which is really convenient for me cuz i don't want the extra horsepower while i'm just driving around town.. and this built in tuner will allow me to switch from a fuel efficient tune to a performance tune if some one comes up trying to be a hard ***..

However the downside is if i want to ever switch tunes i have to send it back to the company and they'll have to reprogram it.

So my question is actually will i really need to change tunes that often.. this chip has 4 slots.. and i can only think of have a fuel economy tune and then a performance tune.. then the default stock tune..

Thanks!

Get a tuner, not a chip. Chips are about the equivalent of 3.5" floppy discs. Go to vmptuning.com, check out the SCT x-cal 3 and email Justin (the owner) any questions you may have. He'll be able to help you out better than we can.
