Best fuel control is the right foot, if you had a 5 speed you can mess around some with shift points and coasting to save some more, but that isn't really practical with an auto.

Ummm...........98 V6s were rated at 28mph, and I got all that and some with my old 98, I can gurantee you that the new GT-500 doesn't get 26, hell, it probably struggles to hit 24 on a good day.
my car when i bought it still had the original sales sticker in the glove box. it said 29 on the highway i dont remember what it had for city. mine seems to get about the same as the 2001 4cyl cavalier i had before it.
