So my windshield has a pretty nice crack spread across the full length of the glass. When I replace it I want it slightly tented like with 80%-90%. Where could I order a windshield like that?

50% doesn't even look tinted and your saying 80 -90%? does that even exist?

 

My goal is to just have a tent on there that will block the UV rays and not decrease my vision at night... If 50% will do that and not get me pulled over then I would put that on. Can you order windshields with the glass already tinted? I don't want the film in case one day it starts to bubble up or peel.

 

just get the top strip tinted that blocks out most of the sun and is legal

 

You can buy clear tint that can block all of the harmful stuff, I plan to do it to mine. It's best to spend good money on it and take it to someone you can really trust to do it right, because if the windshield is done wrong, you can be screwed trying to see out of it. A bubble can really mess your day up.
