Default Tune Needed for Gear Change?

Well now that I ordered the Forged Piston Shortblock from SSM I am looking at an additional 3-4 weeks before anything gets here so I was thinking of installing some of the other mods I have. Like the Aluminum driveshaft, 3.73 gears, and t-lok. Just wondering if I absolutely need a tune when doing these or if they will be ok to drive for the next 4 weeks without tuning.. I just dont want to damage anything.. thanks

The only thing a tuner will do for you with gears is to adjust to make your speedo read correct.
