jacking the front up

Question jacking the front up

i want to replace front struts, have the service manual from ford, i can not figure out where to jack and place the stands , can anyone help, i need it explained to me like i am a 5 year old thanks,

I personally out the jack under the k member (directly under the motor its a big flat surface that your lower A arms attach too) NOT THE OIl PAN and I put my jack stands on the sub-frame\ floor pan that is raised just inside the outer edges of the car they run the length of the car and I put the stands up in the front

i put the jack stands right on the frame on both sides of the car. i wouldnt put regular jack stands on the pinch welds, they will most likely start to bend because theres not a lot of contact area

i didnt even think of there being pinch welds thats not what i use i use the raised section that is about meh 2 or 3 inches wide more like the sub frame of the car
