hey guys, my 02 v6 mustang (manual transmission) is having a problem that the local shop cant figure out. i was leaving work last sunday and while i was shifting from first to second gear my rpm's rose to 2500 and stuck there while the clutch was in. it did the same thing from second to third. at stop it idled at 1100 rpm which is obviously high. the local shop replaced the throttle position sensor and it helped none. any ideas what might be going on with it?

 

Was your AC on at the time? My rpms used climb to 1k-1.2k when running my AC but then the AC went out all together. Try cleaning your Idle Air Control(IAC) that could help as well.
