i would just spend the extra money for the detroit truetrac, all mechanical, no clutch packs to wear out, and no additive for your gear oil

After much talk/begging my girlfriend im going with the detroit true trac, 3.73s or 4.10s, upgraded axels, and im trying to squeeze a aluminum driveshaft outa this little project. I want have to pay an install price because my uncle has rebuilt the rear end in his 5.0 and the irs in his termi.

hmm well if u dont have the money for the drive shaft, i dont think your going to need upgraded axles, unless you have a project coming that i dont know about lol, i have never heard of the stock axles having a hard time in the 7.5, and if you think you will you should just get an 8.8 lol

Change of plans.. I decided what my build plans are and building the 7.5 isnt in the plan. My plan consist of a 31 spline 8.8 with true trak, 3.55/3.73/3.90 havent decided, hardend axles. And all of this so i can have a 4.2 hci, windstar upper, procharged weekend warrior. But i am not with out a car my uncle had a 7.5 laying and i just put it in my car. So now that my plans are exposed give me some insight on things that i should consider in my build.

Sounds to me like you need to spend $20 on some u-joints.
