Default shift selenoid

my car is shifting all out of whack. i changed the fluid and filter. changed the speed sensor in the tail shaft of the tranny. today when i ran the codes it gave me a code for the shift selenoid. where exactly is the selenoid and wheres the best place to get one? thanks in advance. hope i dont have to pull the pan again lol.

You do. It goes into the valve body.

Well crap. I tjink ifound the part at autozone. Does anybody know if the innova 3150 is a good code reader?

well after i orderdered the part i was gonna drive it up on ramps to do get the tranny ready for when the part comes in. as i was going up the car died so i rolled it back down. found out the maxi ecm fuse was blown and as soon as i put a new one in and turned the key on the new one blew. got to looking at the wiring and found a harness on the drivers side melted to the exhaust. after i pulled it off done some rewiring and ziptying its shifting normal now. so hopefully everything is fixed. just wish i hadnt prepaid for the solenoid.
