Default Guys please help

Hey guys thanks for reading! I'm new to this site and I've got a question for you. I've got a 97 v6 and the other day it just wouldn't start, it would make noise but wouldn't turn over. The theft light was flashing also. The tow guy said it might be a fuel pump because it sounded like it wasn't getting fuel. I found that the maxi 13 fuse(20amp) had blown(i have no idea what fuse that is i dont have the manual) i put a new one in and it started for a second and blew again. Each time i put the maxi 13 fuse in the car it will start and blow immediately. Does anyone know what this is? Has anyone fixed their issue?

I read some online forums and found people with the same problem but no one ever seemed to report back how they fixed it.

Thanks!

If the batteries goin out to then my guess would be something with the alternator or a bad ground somewhere..but idk im just throwing that out there.

Bigger fuse! But really I would check all the wiring make sure your don't have a ground to frame first off the wiring if I'm not mistaken crosses the over the drive shaft just behind the trans check there also where the wire goes through into your fusebox just trace the wire or bundle at least and make sure there is no bare wire other than that you just many need a new pump I doubt it but it is a possibility they aren't hard to change
