4.3L Forged SSM Block
Stage 2+ SSM Power Pak
BBK Cold Air Intake
VAP Intake Spacer
BBK 65mm Throttle Body which was matched to the intake
Mac LongTube Headers
Mac H-Pipe
ASP Underdrive Pulley
Ford Racing Aluminum Drivershaft
SVT Feul Pump
3.73 Gears
T-Lok
Roush Side Exhaust
SCT Programmer
Eibach springs, sway bars, shocks, struts
Nitrous Kit

Is it necessary to upgrade the K-member or just another mod to do??
You should have done the "learn a little here and there" part before dropping thousands of dollars. That list there looks like a generic laundry list of mods. It looks like you spent an hour looking over the forum, read a few threads, and cut and pasted from various "want to buy" lists of other members.

Nothing in there is really meant to work with everything else. Like, the SCT tuner. After all this work you're gonna want a dyno tune, not some POS mail order tune. And the suspension. It's just generic suspension not geared towards anything really. Are you trying to drag race it? Road race it? Where are you going there?

And then "nitrous kit." Wow, that's like when someone asks "What do you drive" and responding with "a car." Dry or wet shot? Nozzle style or direct port? Hell, what brand is it?

And your engine. What kind of cam. Is the cam geared towards nitrous? What's your compression ratio? How much power can it handle? What are the actual specs of the engine?

And the gears? Why 3.73's? How high is the engine built to rev? Where will it stop making power? Would 4.10's have been a better choice if the engine can rev higher than stock?

What are your doing as far as fuel? I see the SVT Focus pump, but what's the point of that with stock injectors? The injectors can only flow so much, regardless of how much the fuel pump can flow. Hell, you can have a sumped tank with an Aeromotive A1000 pump, with stock injectors that fuel isn't going to the engine any more than with a stock system.

Do you see where I'm going with this? I'm not trying to knock you or anything, I just think you would have done so much more with a lot less money if you took some more time to learn exactly what it was you're doing before buying all this ****.

Wow.. Well that was a lot.. Lets take this one by one...

As for the tuner I was told by many reputable people that I should talk to the guys at VMPTuning.com and get a custom tune done.. From there you take it to a dyno shop that will tweak the tune to get the most but due to all the changes the programmer would help from the start.. So its not some generic tune its "custom" to the mods I have done..

As far as the suspension goes well the car is mostly a "road" car.. its not going to be on any tracks or anything like that.. I was mostly going for the "lowered" look with a bit better handling... the car will be a street car that I just wanted some extra handling...

As far as the nitrous goes it is a Cold Fusion Dry shot kit.. Nothing major.. just doing a 75 shot for those times you want a little extra...

I went with 3.73 gears as I talked with a lot of guys and being that the car will be used on the highway alot and what I have planned I was told to stick with 3.73 instead of going 4.10...

The fuel pump was purchased but is not going in right away...It is in my list of mods because it was purchased.. The fuel pump will go in when I get the cash for the Turbo.. Once i get the turbo the fuel pump, injectors, and turbo will all go in..

The engine is geared towards turbo use.. I was told that safely the engine will handle 500hp easy... If I am not mistaken the compression ratio is 8.7:1 as it was setup with the idea that a turbo would be added later on down the road... I dont have the sheet in front of me with all the specs on the engine but I believe that was the compression ratio and the cam is either 218/224 or 212/212 or 212/218.

I think that covers everything.. The whole idea here was to build a motor that by itself will be able to handle most cars out there.. Then when I saved up some more cash I could add the turbo and not have much to worry about as far as other cars out there.. There is no course racing or anything like that.. Like I said earlier there might be some 1/4 mile racing and such but for the most part just a nice street car with the ***** to hang with the best..

Not really, this engine build isn't very well thought out. (1) Svt fuel pump [assuming focus pump] isn't going to support anything near what a turbo build will need. The gear choice [with turbo in mind] may or may not be very well thought out, however with turbo in mind an 8.8 rear end should be bought instead of wasting money on gears+install+tlok+bearing kit. Why a dry shot I have no idea but if it floats his boat, and the cam choice is very "off the shelf" for such a build.

It's my old/new nitrous kit, the 75 shot should be plenty, and it's totally safe dry, any higher and i'd recommend wet, and anything over 125, I'd recommend direct port, and possibly meth.

It's basically a modded out street car, it'll be really fun. It won't break any records or anything, but it'll scare the **** out of a lot of "faster" cars out there.
