I had a K&N air filter, but i just installed a BBK CAI yesterday and i have to say, i really felt the difference. Can hear it pretty good also.

yeah im gonna get the GT takeoff exhaust. I can't decide though wether or not to just have them weld it on or get an X-pipe. i need opinions. Also, i just bought 03 cobra chrome 17" rims today, there goin to look sweet!

Get an X-pipe if you have the $$, a new catted one runs about $300 though.

get the H pipe for the v6, louder and lower pitch. you dont need X b/c of firing order.

For the same reason, firing order, you don't need an H-pipe either so there's always the weld-on fabricated midpipe solution. Is the exhaust sound on a V6 with a catted X- or H-pipe significantly different that one with separate midpipes welded on after the stock cats?

i have the 2 largest cats and back to my mufflers of my magnaflow cat back cut out and welded in an H pipe. so it is much louder and deeper without 2 cats and the H instead of Y
