v8 or not
I bought 2001 mustang for 300 and was wreck in front. Plans were to put a v8 but there is alot more to it than what i thought. What is the pro and con to leave v6 or changing it out. How much power can you get out of the v6 with out rebuilding it. Thank you

Umm.........the V6 is a much better block than the 4.6 or 5.0s so yea, 900 hp isn't hard for them to do with proper internals and bottom end.
In short to the OP, you're looking at a lot of money either way. You can do an "economy" v6 build, and I use that term loosely as you're still going to invest a few thousand dollars into the engine to get it to anything half decent (300 rwhp), and even more to get it above that.

Why is it that the V8 crowd likes to think they know everything, then when something proves them wrong, they all whine and cry like spoiled little girls?
The M112 kit has seen different results on different motors with different tuners. Wiht good exhaust and a few tweaks, 300/325 can be had without major issues. With the right mods, you can make as much out of a V6 as you can out of the Cobra with the same blower. (And any V8 owner who claims you can't doesn't understand how CFM translates to power.)

He's talking about blower CFM. Here's a small article for the techies. http://www.kennedysdynotune.com/Blower%20CFM.htm
