Default Battery problem

2002 v6 mustang automatic
My car has drained 2 batterys in the past two days.
It just has a fast-paced clicking and wont even turn over.

Any sugestions would help a lot

There are no new installs at all.
Sometimes when you turn the key all of the gauges move all the way to the right then back to normal.
Other times the gauges dont move.
Each time before it did this the car wound start and run fine all day, but both times is after i park and go in somewhere for about 10min and come out there is a repetitive clicking but it wont turn over.

What he^ said it sounds like an alt issue, you can have it tested for free at your local parts store.

i had the same problem as you did with the gauges. do this take some jumper cables. Take the negative and put it on something metal like the alt bracket something that is to the frame. take the positive and put it on the positive terminal and see if it starts. if it does it is a grounding issue. i would buy all new cables and new terminals. if it dosent work then i would go to advance auto parts or auto zone and get the alt tested.
