so my check engine light came on so i got my scanner and ran the code
the code im getting is p1633
it said
aux inputs and aux outputs
i figured it was that the voltage got too low at one time and kicked the light so i erased it

it came back on, my volt guage is reading 12v in the on position and 14+ while running so im stummped

could it be my aux input where i have my radar detector connected,
ive just never ran across this code and the only thing i found on google what stuff i already looked into

Check your battery and alternator. Are you popping any fuses?

 

na no popping, everything seems to be fine, alt is putting out 14+ while running.....battery is showing 12 when idle, ive deleted the code several times and as soon as i start the car it comes back on,
im going to check my battery cables, and alt cables tom to see if any of them arent making a constant connection, i was driving down the highway when i came on

 

There has been issues I've heard of regarding the alternator wiring, worth a look.

 

I havent got a chance to look at it because ive been working a lot and its supposed to be raining this weekend so hopefully i can get it taken care of soon, thanks for the info
