Alright, I have about $1500 to spend (I have $2500 but putting 1k back for a rainy day). I'm trying to figure out which rout I wanna go next. I really want to build me rear end but I'm on the fence about it. My future plans are as follows.
Gears/ posi or an 8.8
windstar upper
cam
p&p heads
4.2 w/ forged internals
d1 supercharger

I'm in the gears/posi, windstar, and cam area as of now. I know I want to build my rear, but I don't quit now if I wanna build up the 7.5 or just wait till I find a good deal on an 8.8. Everything but the supercharger will happen sometime in the next year with the top half happening in the next two or 3 weeks.

Basically, since I'm not going to supercharge it for some time, would a t lok be sufficient till then? Or should I go ahead and buy the auburn posi? Also, would the posi be able to hand the power that a supercharger puts down? On the other hand, should I just wait and find an 8.8? Thanx yall.

I'd but the 8.8" rear and go from there. Whatever you decide, when dealing with the rear end, do it right the first time, because install fee be a b*tch.
