Having a shop do your system sounds good. But you still will get the "rice" sound no matter what exhaust setup you have, thus is the life of the sixer.

the stock exhaust sounds 10x better. Sounds good at the low rpms but like all v6, once you hit about 3000 rpms it sounds like ***. Not worth it in my opinion. Dont get me wrong though that is prolly one of the best sounding mufflers on a v6 stang ive heard. But best isnt really saying much.

The stock exhaust is to restrictive and sounds crappy. I love my exhaust and i wouldnt go back to the stock system. My sister has a v6 also and im upgrading her exhaust to 96-98 headers w/straight pipes through some thrush muffler, because at 16 she knows that the stock sound is crappy. But to each his/her own.

i agree more with this brent guy know v6 wont sound incredible no matter what but i think it will improve and i am trying to get better air flow inhaling and exhaling so exhaust is obviously a big part of that

Long tubes and a catted h-pipe with a GT catback will sound better, that's about the only way it'll sound decent.

dude look up some exhaust clips. true duas with flows or thrush mufflers sounds good, up till around 3,000rpms. and a full lontube exhaust sounds amazing up till 3,000 rpms.
