Default autometer questions??

hey guys i want to do some more power adders but first i want to monitor the cars workings. i want to do some guages, here are my thoughts but please put in ur input and comments.

first off i want to do a triple pod a-pillar holder. i want to paint it tan to match my interior and give the car that stock look.

second off. im pretty sure i want the air/fuel ratio gauge, the trans temp gauge, and idk about the third????

third. i want to give the car that stock look so i am most likley going to uninstall my white face guages and bring it back to the black stock. what gauge syle looks closest to stock or at least not really ricer.

fourth how hard is it to install the gauges i have listed and what install accessories do i need.

fifth who is the best autometer dealer online. i found this on ebay but im sketch about buying used stuff now http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Go to www.thunderracing.com and tell them I sent you. They have great prices and even better customer support. I've been using them for 10+ years. I actually may swing by there this afternoon to see whats up lol.

im not sure what exactly. what ever is the most important on our car. i have only an intake exhaust and tune. the tune has changed the shift points in the trans so i want to watch trans temp. it has also adjusted air/fuel ratio so i want to watch that as well. i think next i either want to watch cylinder head temp or oil temp.

Ha, get a boost gauge. That way you have a constant nagging reminder that you should save up for f/i.

If you don't like that idea.....well, get an EGT gauge. It won't really help you too much, but it will give you some additional statistics to rant about when you're talking to people about your car.

I'd say boost/vacuum gauge, but get the S/C to go with it too lol.

All of their gauges are pretty straight forward to install and all come with instructions. The fuel pressure gauge will be the most expensive but most bennificial gauge if you go F/I aside from the boost gauge.
