Exclamation Brakes and Rotors

First I would just like to mention that I do not have much knowledge of cars so bare with me on this, I don't even know if I am in the right forum type. Anyway I really need to change my front brakes, which wouldn't be a problem. I wish... My grandfather and I tried taking the calipers off the other day but the torx 50 just broke the screw was in so tight, but we got the E12 top screw out. By the way I have a 97 v6 3.8L. So either we think that the last person who did the brakes on the car either put something in the screw so that it doesn't come lose or my grandfather heard at work that the whole caliper might come off. If anyone knows the answer to this problem please reply. Thanks.

The caliper bracket should be 2 15mm bolts, they can be a PITA, because they are loc-tited in. Just make sure you use red loc-tite when you get it back together.
