Arrow I've got the Squeaks

So, there's this horrible squeaking sound coming from my car whenever it is in motion. I know the belt whines just a bit at idle, but this squeaking is really loud. I'd have to guess that it is coming from the shocks/struts though. Anyone want to confirm this for me?

If that is the problem, what's the consensus on shocks/struts? I hear the name Tokico Blues being thrown around a good bit. If those are recommended, is this a good deal: Tokico Blues HP with Lowering Springs? Since they come with the springs, I figured that would be money well spent.

Is it coming from the front or back?

Front could be ball joints, the back could be the spring isolators.

Lubricate you e-brake cable where they pass through the bracket on the lower control arm

could be spring isolators? Mine were pretty much shot when I put my springs in but I didn't change them. My car squeaks bad but I never though anything of it, just chalked it up to it being a convertible lol. And I never changed the ball joints after I lowered the car either maybe I should look into both.....

Huh...ok. I'll look into that this weekend. I'm planning to lift it anyway to cut the springs. Actually, there's another point. How much should I cut to lower about 1.25"?

Hm, that didn't help much. I already knew how to get the springs out, and how to cut them. Has anyone around cut their springs and gotten between 1" to 1.5" of drop?
