i have a 00 vert v6. So far all i have is dual exaust and cai. My questions are would getting a t-lok mean i would need a chip as well, and between a throttle body and new heads which would offer better performance. thanks guys

 

for insane acceleration and more power to feel get 4.10 gears and a t-lok. with htis setup you will need a handheld tuner to recalibrate the speedometer. a chip will do but a tuner is better so you can change things later

ported/polished heads offer more performance over a throttle body. you dont need a bigger TB unless you plan on supercharging or something

 

thanks so heads and no tb yet and the t-lok woulnt do anything without gears right

 

new heads cost around $1600. a new TB will cost $250. go with a camshaft from www.rdmotorsport.com. lots more power for under $350.
