No need to PM, by far the easiest thing for you to do is find a low mile 99-04 (if 01-04 then you need to buy a 99-00 lower intake manifold) and put that in, sell your old engine.

You will also need a return style fuel rail, an early model windstar fuel rail will work, you can also try a 97-98 F150 fuel rail.

Call up VMP for your tune or take it to your local tuner and your on your way.

Good luck.

PS. the 2001 is said the be the strongest block, its cost for the bare block new relfects that idea though I do not know the details as to why it is stronger and how it is different.

Ahh, I just saw that you have a 94', that is an OBDI system, may as well pick up a wrecked 99-04 and swap everything plus the brakes out. That way you can also upgrade to Cobra or Mach 1 brakes without needing to buy the booster and prop valve.

A wrecked 99-04 can be had for anywhere from $800-2000 depending on miles, options and damage.

You can make your money back by selling off the parts that you do not need.
