2.25 pipe can't be restrictive since it was used on V8's from the factory, yes because they factory never took the cheaper route to save money knowing it would cost some power. I believe you have your answer and the best option.....but you do what you want.

mb i just dont have the money right now to redo my entire exhaust set up, but i guess ill just wait til i can. Btw what kind of hood is that RyansQuick6? 95 cobra r? It looks ba.

Its not a cobra r. I forget the brand but it begins with a K. I think a 3.5 dual step cowl....I forget exactly.
