Default Need help with fuel pump

I have a ’99 Mustang and I’m trying to change the fuel pump. I’ve got the tank out of the car, took off the fuel pump access cover revealing the fuel pump and sending unit, but I can’t figure how to get it out of the tank. I don’t see anything holding it in. I’ve tied to pull it out but seams to somehow be stuck (attached) to the bottom of the tank.

The pump unit sits in a basket that's welded to the tank, it just clips in, if you look close you'll see the 2 or 3 clips that hold it.
