Default Dyno Results

Got dyno'd this morning...

Horsepower : 170.36
Torque : 201.96
Mods : Stock paper air filter for today, true dual exhaust from the cats back, t-lok and 4.10s, and a Hurst short throw.

My air/fuel hovers just over 14, but between 2250 and 2500 it's at about 14.5, what should I do about this? The guy doing the dyno told me I could upgrade my fuel pump/injectors, and he wouldn't be surprised if I gained between 15-20 rwhp from it seeing how bad my a/f is.

Thoughts?

Here are the charts

Some how I dont see you getting that kinda gains with simple injector/pump swap. I think you need to P&P, swap heads, ect ect to get those gains.

He's talking about my a/f ratio, I'm at 14.5ish, when I should be down at 12. Running far too lean, even with my paper filter and stock air box.

It appears so, those are the only things that I've changed as far as the engine goes. I removed the air silencer, that's it...

Graphs in first post.

I don't know, but that's really off base. That's quite lean, and that could lead to some detonation. Not to mention so much more power is available when you are at that a/f ratio of 13:1. I just don't know how to go about it...

Sounds like a good idea.

Anyone else know how/which injectors/pump would help fix this?

I'm running lean from time to time as well and I KNOW that I need to upgrade my fuel system as I hear that pump straining so much more than before the engine swap.

Ya gotta remember our Car is a 96' which had 150hp and 14lb injectors so the pump is matched to that system. The 00's engine has 21lbs injectors and 190hp.

I am making around 220-230bhp now which according to the many fuel injector calculators online, my 21lb injectors are already exceeding 80% duty cycle.

So while you may not see the gains he is saying you might from upgrading your fuel system, it is still important to do so to keep the whole thing stable.

Depending on what you plan on doing, 24lb Cobra or Mach 1 injectors are a good next step to stepping up your injectors. As for fuel pumps, there are tons of em around to choose from.
