Replacing convertable back window
Ok so today I was putting my top down and I had a bunch of stuff in my car and I guess somthing hit the back window when it was going down. So it broke into pieces and now I don't have a window. Do you guys have any ideas one the cheapest way to get this fixed? I have a convertible so does that mean I need a new top?
And yea they're glued in. and from what i heard, abitch to instal
Sorry to hear about your rear window. I know from experience that is the worst sound I have ever heard when I put my new top down for the first time and the window exploded. They had put in a window that was about 1 inch too big. This was on the 1990 7 UP convertible. Still cost me $250.00 for the right sized window since I could not prove they messed up! Good luck!

and yes the are a MAJOR PAIN IN THE A*S!! mostly because the urethane is the messiest, stickiest, and downright most aggravating adhesive i have EVER worked with
Wow, so a local shop wants around 700 dollars to do the whole thing. I figured I'd find out how hard it would be to do my self. Any one know where a tutorial is for this? And this would work right? http://www.americanmuscle.com/glass-...-9404heat.html
that appears to be the correct one but still probably should call them and make sure, in gona need a whole new top soon my self, almost 10 years in the Florida sun... it's getting those stress cracks all over
