Default 04 Cobra Fuel Tank

Besides having dual pumps is there a size difference or something with the 03/04 cobra fuel tank? Every time I see a terminator the fuel tank looks like its 1 inch above the ground. I look at the back of my slammed v6 and the tank looks a lot smaller.

I believe the cobra tank is baffled? Or vice versa. I know there is some difference in the construction of the two, just a bit shakey with the details haha

The only difference to the tank is the baffle, but, a Cobra hat has to be used, the v6/gt basket won't work without some modification.

Could the cobra tank sit lower due to the IRS and different exhaust setup as well?

Why would the IRS make a difference??? You can put a SRA on the cobra too. And if I put IRS on my car I wouldn't have to change the fuel tank.

The tank is the exact same as every other tank, but with a baffle and a hat that works with the baffle, nothing else.

I have one in my car, and just put one in a friend's.

It's a really easy swap too, just make sure the tank is almost empty before you decide to drop it. I had about 5 gallons in mine and nicked a finger, so when I reached in the tank to pull out the pump assembly, it burned pretty bad lol.
