Default Mach 1 Chin Spoiler Question

So I was driving home and I went to grab some food and didn't notice the hip I had to go over and scrapped my chin spoiler. I checked it out when I got home and it scrapped pretty good. I was wondering what I could do to get rid of "frizzys" I guess you can call them?

Maybe sanding it down a little bit maybe?

Any advice?

^ Yes, it's along the bottom edge. It's rough down there now and I was thinking about sanding, but I wasn't sure.

If its the bottom edge I would leave it alone as it will probably happen again. Its inevitable when you reduce the front-end ground clearance.

No its not. Be-careful where you drive. You could sand it down.

ive been careful with mine, making sure i dont pull all the way over parking blocks, etc. i havent had a problem yet. there are other cars that are stock that come with front bumpers lower than a mustang with a mach 1 chin

Yea, if you drive very carefully then you'll be fine, but you have to pay attention to what you're doing, but its almost inevitible that it's going to get beat up. Just trip off any frizzes and or take a little bit of fine sandpaper to it (but be careful). Generally armorall covers up any scratches on them.
