Shifter Bezel

Will an automatic shifter bezel fit a manual transmission shifter? I'm talking about the trim that goes on the center console around the shifter.

Dont quote me but my brothers got a 98 v6 and I have a 96GT and I would have to say, they look the same. I say they should work.
