Default subframe connectors?

ok so I am not satisfied with the way my 2004 mach1 handles. Like crap if you ask me.

Are subframe connectors a good thing? I am not so sure because it does add weight.

Eventually I will install a new suspension at some point as well but from what I understand the subframe connectors increase rigidity which is a good thing.

Any opinions?

Never heard a bad thing about subframe connectors. Supposed to be great. Go full length, no some chepos, and get them welded on not bolted.

Pretty sure the Mach 1 already has factory Subframe connectors but that isnt to say that you could put bigger ones on or a brace kit like Kenny Brown sells.

A Strut tower brace will really help a lot too, I think Steeda makes a Mach 1 specific brace.

You can also get a rear shock tower brace.

Tokico D-Spec shocks will also increase the handling of your car.

There is a lot more that you can do too from complete Grib in a Box from Maximum Motorsports to chassis stiffening.

Also, we have a Mach specific forum in here too.

Also make sure to make a stop off over at Mach 1 Registry and register your Mach.

no fords came with weld ins though, and it was only verts, IIRC.

bolt ins are better then nothing, but suck compared to full legth weld ins.

hmm..have to find out if I already have them. before I upgrade my suspension I want to take a holistic approach to it. I'd like to decide everything I need and get it installed in one shot.

and yes I am already registered. Thanks!
